RScan 250 is a 3D Computed Tomography system with two Xray sources for the inspection of a wide variety of parts, ranging from micro-objects to cylinder heads. Due to its direct Cone Beam CT (3D-CT) the complete volume data are generated within some minutes. By the application of granite based manipulator technology used in coordinate measurement systems, RayScan 250 is optimised for high spatial resolution in the micrometer range. Therefore RScan 250 is suitable for the detection of faults as well as for dimensional measurement and reverse engineering.
RScan 250 E additionally provides extended operation modes, which enables to overcome the limits of conventional CT. By using Region-of-Interest CT details or components in large objects are detected with nearly any degree of detail. All hardware and software components are integrated in one intuitive user-friendly interface, which allows to switch easily from one mode to the other.
